The Planning and Zoning Commission will be meeting by electronic means, and not in person, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The public may still attend the meeting and address the commission in the Bullhead City Council Chambers by video conference, or members of the public may join the meeting electronically by using the communications link below. In either case you will still be able to view the meeting and make comments.
To attend the meeting electronically you may:
1) call-in on a phone (audio only);
2) use a device with video capability and use that device’s audio capabilities; or
3) use a video device and make a separate phone call to access the audio.
When using video capability, the audio may be better quality if a phone is used to access the audio. In any event, all of these options must be exercised by first registering for the public meeting through the linkbelow. The options above will be viewable once registration is complete and you’re attempting to connect for the meeting. Registration requires an email address.
In order to attend the meeting with video capability, attendees will need a compatible windows, android, or apple device and an internet connection. Internet connections with a 10mb/s download speed or better work best. If you experience problems connecting prior to the start of the meeting you may call 928-201-4800 for assistance.
Members of the public attending electronically from a site separate from the communication station provided within the Bullhead City Council Chambers location, will be able to speak, be heard and listen, but will not be permitted to send any live video into the meeting. Members of the public attending electronically will be muted until they have been addressed by the commission chair to speak. At that time, the host will unmute that attendee for a period of time not exceeding THREE MINUTES. Applicants with business before the commission may be afforded more time. Upon expiration of the time limit the speaker’s microphone will be turned off. The city attorney will be in attendance at the Bullhead City Council Chambers location. Attendees in the chambers can signal the city attorney if they would like to speak.
For best audio results, attendees listening remotely from the chambers are strongly encouraged to use headphones in a quiet room to attend the meeting, and to mute their microphones until they are allowed the opportunity to speak.
Members desiring to use the link to participate are encouraged to call into the meeting at 5:15 to ensure that their technology is working and that they will be able to attend the meeting as desired. The official meeting will be called-to-order at 5:30PM as posted.
The meeting will also be broadcast live on Suddenlink channel 4 as all public meetings are. A replay of the meeting will be available on the City’s video replay service (www.bullheadcity.com/commissionvideos)
shortly after the meeting as are other televised City meetings.
