The Planning and Zoning Division office is located in City Hall at 2355 Trane Rd., Bullhead City, AZ  86442.  Planning staff can be reached by calling (928) 763-0123.  Faxes can be sent to (928) 763-0131.
 
The following handouts have been compiled in order to outline the most common type of permit submittals.  All requirements for a specific project type may not be listed.

To conform to certain Arizona Revised Statutes the City has updated the following forms:

  • Building and Zoning Permits guide

Effective 04/01/2018, the previous forms will no longer be accepted.

Fences / Retaining Walls:

Fences: A City Building/Zoning permit is no longer required for the construction of fences that are 6’ or less in height and are not retaining.  Fences must meet City municipal code location, height and material requirements.  Fences to be constructed in a recorded easement require a City Encroachment permit.
