As the Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport continues to work toward the restoration of scheduled airline service, the 25-year old award-winning facility continues to be one of the busiest non-metropolitan passenger airports serving Arizona and Nevada. Even without regularly scheduled service, the airlines at Laughlin/Bullhead International airport now operate non-stop and one-stop flights from a record 130 different cities across the U.S. and Canada. Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport serves the Tri-state area of Laughlin, Nevada, Bullhead City, Arizona, and Needles, California. It was named the 2011 Arizona Airport of the Year. Daily commercial charters are operated by Sun Country Airlines with Boeing 737s and Republic Airways with Embraer 190s, for the Riverside Resort and Harrah's Laughlin. Additionally, the airport is the main base for Tri-state CareFlight, a helicopter and fixed wing air ambulance company. Fixed base operations for general aviation, business aircraft, military and commercial flights are provided by Landmark Aviation.
The Airport is located just east of the Colorado River in the northern section of Bullhead City. It is operated by the Mohave County Airport Authority.
The Airport houses three car rental companies including; Enterprise, Hertz, and Avis.
